Why working groups?
The purpose of the working groups are twofold; to influence policy development at EU level and increasing awareness and cooperation across borders in the NSPA regions. North Norway European Office, East and North Finland EU Office and North Sweden European Office meet regularly to discuss policy updates and upcoming initiatives from the EUs side and plan the NSPA reaction and action.
There are five working groups; Bioeconomy and Energy, Attractiveness, Advantages; Minerals; and Research and Innovation.
The WGs consists of the advisors at the three European Offices working on the topics in question. The aim is, as mentioned, to increase cooperation accross borders, and to increase the work towards the EU, using the opportunities and strenngth a common network provides.
